Privacy Policy

Bewith, Inc. ("the Company") provides call center and BPO service business and solution business utilizing digital and AI technologies. The Company recognizes the importance of personal information and its responsibility as a business operator handling personal information, and will make every effort to manage and protect the personal information it handles appropriately.

  • When acquiring and using personal information, the Company will clearly state the purposes and scope of use, acquire the information in a lawful and fair manner, and use the information within the scope of such purposes.
  • The Company will not provide personal information in its possession to third parties without obtaining the individual's prior consent, except as stipulated by law.
  • The Company may outsource the handling of personal data to outside parties to facilitate smooth business operations. In this case, it will select a party that is capable of adequately protecting personal information based on a screening process it prescribes, and will properly manage the personal information after concluding a contract for personal information protection.
  • The Company will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, guidelines based on this Act, and other regulations concerning the protection of personal information.
  • The Company will implement information security measures to prevent leakage, alteration, loss, or unauthorized use of personal information it handles and will continually review and improve such measures.
  • The Company will establish a contact point for inquiries regarding the personal information it obtains and use and will respond appropriately.
  • The Company will establish a personal information protection management system to ensure the safe management of personal information, conduct regular audits of the handling of personal information, and continually review and improve the system.

To implement this Privacy Policy, the Company hereby declares that it will establish Personal Information Protection Regulations and put in place organizational and systemic safety control mechanisms based on these regulations, as well as ensure that all employees* understand the purpose of this policy, comply with the relevant rules, and act appropriately. Concerning the handling of individual numbers and specified personal information based on the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures, the Basic Policy on Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information shall be given priority.

1. Handling of personal information

1.1 Methods of obtaining personal information and purposes of use

The Company will acquire personal information legally and fairly in writing, by voice, by electromagnetic means (email, web input, etc.), by recording, videotaping, or by other means (including cases in which it acquires personal information indirectly from persons other than the person in question, in addition to obtaining it directly from the person in question). The Company will use personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the following purposes, depending on the type of information. If the Company intends to use personal information beyond the scope of the following purposes, it will obtain prior consent from the individual in an appropriate manner.

1.2 Personal data entrusted for handling by other business operators

Personal data entrusted to the Company by other business operators will only be used within the scope necessary to fulfill the purposes of the entrusted operations, as stipulated in the contract with the respective operators. Such personal data is not classified as personal data held by the Company and is therefore not subject to disclosure as outlined in Item 3 below.

1.3 Disclosure and provision of personal information

The Company does not disclose or provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

    When the purposes of use are explained in advance, and the individual’s consent is obtained.

    When any of the following 1. through 4. below applies:

    • When required by laws and regulations
    • When necessary to protect an individual’s life, body, or property, and obtaining their consent is difficult.
    • When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children, and obtaining the individual’s consent is difficult.
    • When cooperation is required with a national agency, local government, or an entity entrusted by them to execute legally prescribed duties, and obtaining the individual’s consent could impede the execution of such duties.

    When personal data is provided as part of a business succession due to a merger or other reasons, and the recipient handles the data within the scope of the purposes of use before the succession.

1.4 Outsourcing the handling of personal data

When outsourcing all or part of the handling of personal data within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use, the Company will thoroughly screen the outsourcee to ensure compliance with our personal data protection standards. The Company will also stipulate confidentiality obligations in the contract, ensure that the entrusted personal data is handled appropriately by the outsourcee by confirming the purposes of use in advance, and take preventive measures against information leaks when providing personal data. Additionally, the Company will conduct appropriate and necessary supervision of outsourcees to ensure that they understand the purposes of use and strictly comply with the prohibition of using the data for any other purposes.

1.5 Joint use of personal information

Suppose the Company shares personal data with a specific party to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In that case, the Company will disclose the name of the party with which the personal data will be shared, the items of personal data, the purposes of use, and the person responsible for managing the data on the Company's website, or explain this to the individual before the shared use commences. The Company will also confirm in advance that the organization with which the personal data will be shared has a personal information management system equal to or superior to its own.

1.6 Use of cookies

The Company may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information in order to analyze the usage of certain sections of its site or provide customized services and advertisements to enhance service convenience for individual users.
However, the collected information does not include personally identifiable details, such as the user’s name, address, telephone number, or email address.

Based on information collected through cookies or device IDs, such as access history to our website, advertisements for the Company may appear on various internet sites via third-party distributors, including Google.

Users can opt out of using cookie information by accessing the advertising settings page on third-party distributor websites, including Google.

You can disable the use of cookies by third-party distributors through the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page. You can also control the use of device IDs by third-party distributors from your device settings.

2. Security measures for personal information

The Company will establish and operate information security management and personal information protection systems to promote and oversee security measures throughout the Company. Additionally, it will conduct regular reviews and implement continuous improvements to maintain and enhance security levels.

  • The Company will establish a Security Committee to properly maintain and promote a system for protecting personal information it handles. The Security Committee leads the implementation of protection measures, including the formulation of rules and procedures for the protection of personal information, and evaluates the results. Additionally, the Company will regularly and promptly review internal systems and regulations to address changes in technological, social, and legal environments, as well as newly identified risks.
  • The Company provides systematic and ongoing education and training to ensure that all employees understand the Company's personal information protection measures and that these measures are effectively implemented and enforced. Furthermore, it regularly audits compliance with the Privacy Policy and other regulations.
  • To prevent leakage, falsification, loss, or unauthorized use of personal information handled by the Company, it implements information security measures, including educating all employees as outlined in the preceding section. These measures also include protection against unauthorized access (e.g., entry/exit management, access restrictions from external networks, and restrictions on the use of media and devices) and protection against computer viruses (e.g., implementing antivirus software and network monitoring). The Company will conduct continuous reviews and corrective actions to enhance these measures.
  • The Company will acquire, use, and provide personal information only within the scope necessary for business execution, and only by individuals authorized under the properly controlled environments. It will not handle personal information beyond what is required to achieve the purposes of use consented to by the individual, and will implement the necessary measures to ensure this. In the unlikely event that these measures fail to function properly and result in incidents such as leakage or loss, the Company will promptly notify the individual concerned and report the incident to the Personal Information Protection Committee.

3. Disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc., of personal data held by the Company

In the event of receiving a request for notifying the purposes of use, or for disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use of information, or suspension of provision to third parties of personal data it holds ("Inquiries for Disclosure, Correction, etc."), the Company will respond within a reasonable period and scope after confirming the identity of the individual or their authorized representative. If, as a result of disclosure, an error is found in the information, and the Company is requested to correct, delete, or suspend the use of such information, or to stop the provision of the information to third parties; it will comply with the request without delay. Please note that if the Company cannot verify the individual's identity or if special circumstances surpassing the protection of the individual’s rights and interests* are recognized, it may not be able to respond to Inquiries for Disclosure, Correction, etc., even from the individual or their authorized representative.
