Bewith, Inc.’s mission is to create joy and value for society based on its business philosophy of “Contributing to society through insights.”

We create new value with people and technology to transform society for the better from the perspectives of all stakeholders. As a first step, we are making efforts to promote web accessibility. This is more than just a technical response as our goal is to make our website accessible to as many people as possible.

We will work to ensure and improve web accessibility to realize an inclusive society where all people are respected and can participate as equal members of society.

Exceptions

The following items have been made exempt from our goal due to difficulties in making corrections.

  • Content, web pages, images, and videos, etc. created prior to the formulation of our accessibility policy may have the following issues in regard to our achievement criteria.

    • 1.2.5 Audio Description (Prerecorded)
      Example issue: Audio descriptions not being provided with videos may prevent visually impaired persons from understanding the content of the videos.
    • 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum)
      Example issue: The contrast ratio between the text and background colors being insufficient may make it difficult for individuals with color blindness to distinguish the text.
    • 1.4.10 Reflow
      Example issue: Users magnifying the screen for operation due to having low vision, etc. may be required to scroll horizontally in order to view content.
    • 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast
      Example issue: The contrast ratio between the color of graph lines and the background color being insufficient may make it difficult for individuals with color blindness to distinguish the information.
    • 2.4.6 Headings and Labels
      Example issue: The heading text not clearly representing the content of the paragraph that follows may make it difficult for users relying on screen readers to find the desired content.
    • 4.1.2 Name, Role, and Value
      Example issue: In a slider with pagination, the slides and pagination are not correctly associated, which may prevent screen reader users from understanding that multiple slides are being displayed on the screen.
    • 4.1.3 Status Messages
      Example issue: Notifications in the form of toast messages not being read aloud by screen readers may make it difficult for users to understand the content of the message.
