The Great East Japan Earthquake remains fresh in people’s memories, and there are lessons we must learn from it.
In order to address such business risks of our client companies in Japan, which is a disaster-prone country, our business locations are spread throughout Japan and range from Hokkaido to Kyushu.
We believe that it is our social responsibility to support society’s infrastructure in the event of an emergency in order to maintain the lives and convenience of the people.
At each of our business locations, we play a role in revitalizing local economies by undertaking operations that suit local characteristics and regional circumstances.
We also actively engage in “creation of employment” and “development of human resources” by employing human resources in each region and providing training opportunities, both on the job and through training programs, etc.
Creation of Employment with Bewith Digital Work Place (Home-based Contact Centers)
The Company has implemented location-free recruitment which utilizes the Bewith Digital Work Place.
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic caused many restaurants and department stores to withdraw from the market in local cities. Those who have built a career in the hospitality industry in their area, or those living in underdeveloped areas can work without having to relocate.
In addition, we can also employ those who have a difficult time leaving their house due to having to provide nursing care or having an illness, etc.
With this, we aim to contribute to regional revitalization and the creation of employment.

Initiatives at Digital Lab Nagasaki
We opened Digital Lab Nagasaki in April 2022.
Although Nagasaki Prefecture is home to many universities that cultivate a large number of science and engineering talents, because there are not that many workplaces where these talents can put their skills to use, this has led to the problem of these individuals often leaving the prefecture to work in other regions.
Digital Lab Nagasaki provides a place where such excellent talents can put their skills to use and work without having to leave their hometowns.
Additionally, we are leading the Nagasaki Digital Consortium in collaboration with local IT companies and municipalities as an initiative to digitally solve the local issues of Nagasaki.

Initiatives in the Esports Business
The Company supports the challenges of esports players.
By employing and training players as telephone operators, we not only support their activities during their active careers but also help them acquire business skills that can be beneficial for their second careers.
In addition, we are responsible for teaching esports and gaming to elementary school students as part of the Megane-bashi LOGIC, Steam education program in Nagasaki (operated by Dejima Research & Consults Co., Ltd.).
Through team play in esports, students will develop skills such as leadership, situational awareness, and communication which will be applicable to business settings in the future.

Partnership with Osaka Visual Arts Academy
Contact centers have long been supported by individuals such as actors, musicians, and voice actors pursuing their dreams while working. Even today, we have colleagues who are building their careers while chasing their dreams.
In order to support as many students as possible in realizing their dreams, the Company has partnered with Osaka Visual Arts Academy and launched the Mirai Ouen Project (“Support for Futures” Project) which helps students achieve a balance between their lessons and their work at Bewith.
We held a career guidance session at Osaka Visual Arts Academy on December 12, 2018 and 36 students from the voice acting department attended.
We will continue to support those who are building their careers while pursuing their dreams.
